Frequently Asked Roof Contractor Questions

When you start a roof job do you stay on the job until completion or are you like many contractors who start two, three and four jobs at a time?
We start and stay until completed!

Are you insured?
Yes, we carry a full line of insurance, workers compensation and liability.

Do you obtain city building permits for the jobs you work on?
Yes, we obtain a permit for each project with a city inspection performed in progress and ‘Final’ inspection upon completion.

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1978 – going on 34 years.

Do you offer a warranty for the work you provide?
Yes, all new roof installations are given a full warranty. Warranties can range from 2 years to 20 years based on the type of system installed. There is also a manufactures guarantee provided for your protection.

Do you use your own employees?
All of our employees are full time employees of Ray’s Roofing Company, some have been with the company as long as 15 years.

Are the workers supervised?
Yes, Ray Gronau personally oversees each and every project from start to finish.

Do you have a roof safety program in place?
Yes, we hold a documented safety meeting with all employees every Friday morning.

Job site clean-up seems always to be an issue, how does Ray’s Roofing Co handle this issue?
We pride ourselves with a clean work site and again, Ray assures that is one aspect of the project that is just as important as the roof itself!
